WELCOME TO EASTMAN HARDSCAPES CONSTRUCTION

Paver Patio, Fire Pit & Retaining Wall, Mt. Juliet!

Eastman Hardscapes received a call from a home owner seeking information on a new paver patio, fire pit and retaining wall for their home. We took their call and explained our procedures and what to expect. We then took down their information and set a meeting at their site.

Patio Ideas Discussed

At the home owners house many ideas were discussed including the existing grades, possible paver patio areas, drainage, existing irrigation and downspouts, natural and manmade obstacles, and equipment routing in and out of the property. To develop a paver patio plan, our design team measured the house and yard, took notes on windows & doors, and took elevation grades to ensure proper drainage.

We service Mt Juliet, Lebanon, Hermitage, Old Hickory, Gallatin, Donelson, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville and neighboring Tennessee cities.

Patio Design Created for the Home Owner's Yard

Within a few days our design team created a computer-generated Paver Patio plan designed specifically for the home owner's yard. As previously discussed with the home owners, they came to the office/showroom and received their plan and estimate. After reviewing the paver patio plan, picking out the pavers to be installed, timeframe of the project, the homeowners agreed to move forward and a deposit was obtained.

The Backyard Patio Problems were Addressed

The house is in a newly developed neighborhood and our customer was excited to put the finishing touches on their home by adding a paver patio. The backyard was uneven, had poor drainage and was unsuitable for their children to play on. On a corner lot, the Eastman Hardscape Installation team was determined to make a splash in this neighborhood by installing the most appealing paver patio in town!

Paver Patio Installation

INSTALLATION DAY!! To make this big statement Eastman’s installation crew Project Manager started by reviewing the plan with the design team, then he measured and set grade points for the dig. We started the paver patio by removing grass, digging & laying PVC schedule 40 drain pipe and backfilling 3/4 gravel over the pipes. The process of connecting the downspouts with drain pipes ensured a sturdy foundation for drainage of water under the patio. Once this was accomplished we were able to dig footers for the retaining wall and seat couch. After all footers were dug and backfilled it was time to start building!

Our Team of Patio Installers

The Eastman Team started installing the paver patio by leveling footer block for all retaining and seat couch wall material. After footer block completion, we set grade points for base material for the paver patio. Crushed stone was brought in, laid, and compacted for a secure patio foundation. Sand was precisely laid to provide a smooth base for the paver patio to lay on. With the help of a new vacuum machine, aka ‘The Magic Man’, patio pavers were quickly and efficiently installed. Borders were marked & cut, put into place, a concrete edge restraint installed, and then sand was mechanically swept into paver joints. Since the project required topsoil for the proper drainage, topsoil was installed. finish graded, seeded and strawed. A job is never finished until it is cleaned up, so we pressure washed all infected areas and disturbed areas - the job was complete!
